Stock radiator hoses on this bike were mangled and needed to be replaced. Samco also does away with the section of upper radiator hose which is made from aluminum and is prone to being crushed in a tip-over. Silicon hoses are tough, durable, nicer to work with, and look bad ass to boot.
Upper radiator hose shown feeding the radiator cap housing and radiator. Also shown is the radiator overflow mounted to the ram air tube (Motion Pro). Notice all hose cllamps and the radiator cap are safety wired to prevent any potential of a leak occurring if a hose clamp were to loosen off.
The upper radiator hose from the thermostat housing goes off the the right. The bypass hose is shown on the lower half of the tstat housing, but a large obstruction is placed in this hose to prevent flow. The hose in the lower left part of the picture is the feed from the water pump into the block.
Bypass and feed shown.
Water pump, the bypass and feed to the block are shown upper right, the lower radiator hose is shown in the middle of the pump (return) and the lowest hose feeds the oil/water heat exchanger.
View of the whole assembly.
Shown is the hose feeding the oil/water heat exchanger.
