I got him around 2 weeks ago and i moved him into a new cage and then moved him again. The only hamster i saw die was a few days before xmas,all of my others had died of old age in their sleep.this was worse then that,when you cannot do anything there is no feeling like it in the world.we had lots of family over and i went in after the kids were gone and saw the cage was open and she was lying on the floor with a broken back,still alive and gasping for air Its pretty puffy and she keeps digging at it I believe the only answer is the vets office but right now we dont have a lot of money to spare.
